Thanks for the great food and service at our wedding. Everyone commented on how good the food was and “Where is your place?” was an often asked question. Thanks again!”

“To Gabe and Boar’s Nest Crew,
Words can barely express the gratitude we have for you! Thank you for the best wedding meal we-or any of our guests- have ever had! We wish the leftovers lasted as long as the compliments. Your team went above and beyond for us, and saved us so much stress. Thank you a million times. Can’t wait for our next meal with you.”

Thank you so much for catering our graduation party on 6/8. The food was delicious (everyone loved it!) and your service was a breeze. We’ll be sure to recommend you to our amigos. THANKS AGAIN!!”

“I’m signing up for Yelp specifically to let people know how great this business is after having them cater our wedding. We have been to the restaurant a few times and have been impressed with the quality of the meat, the sauce selection, and the service. We then looked into Boar’s Nest for catering our wedding. The owner, Gabe, was extremely helpful and accommodating for us, not to mention all of the compliments we received on the food at the wedding.

If you want your meat to be soaked in sauce while being cooked (which I also like sometimes), this is not the restaurant for you. The meat is all (I think) dry rubbed, so you get to add whatever sauce you want when you eat it. This is also true for the pulled pork which kind of confuses people sometimes.

I would recommend the restaurant to anyone as a solid BBQ restaurant, maybe the best I have had in Seattle which would get it 4 stars. It gets 5 stars because of how helpful and wonderful Gabe and Boar’s Nest were in catering our event and how good the food was buffet style.

I don’t know southern BBQ, so I can’t speak to the food being “correct” in terms of BBQ, but for Seattle, this is about as good as it gets.”
